Daniel Marinovic

Daniel Marinovic is Managing Partner at Fundamental Real Estate Partners, where he oversees corporate and fund strategy, capital allocation, and acquisition execution.
With more than 20 years of experience, Daniel has led complex, high-profile real estate development and investment initiatives across Canada and internationally. He has held senior leadership roles at some of Canada’s most respected publicly listed real estate companies, private equity firms, and family offices.
Most recently, prior to joining Fundamental Real Estate Partners, Daniel served in a senior executive capacity at KingSett Capital, Canada’s leading private equity real estate investment manager, and as CEO and Managing Partner of a private family office investment platform.
Previously, Daniel was Chief Development Officer at Dream Unlimited Corp. (TSX: DRM), one of Canada’s largest real estate organizations, with approximately $28 billion in assets under management. In this role, he oversaw all aspects of the business, including development, construction, finance, and operations.
Earlier in his career, Daniel served as Vice President of Finance at First Gulf, the commercial development division of the Great Gulf Group, one of Canada’s most prominent residential and commercial real estate organizations.
Daniel is actively volunteers his time with various industry associations and non-profit organizations.
